SILK CARE GUIDE

Remember that our silk are Hand Painted works of art, compared to industrial textiles printed by laser that you will find in most stores, our creations must be treated with more delicacy and care. Whit these simply tips your silks will last over the decades!

• Preferably clean your silk by hand in cold water with delicate fabric soap. To do this, fill a container with cold water and dilute the soap well, stirring. Then, place the silk in the container
and gently massage the fabric with your hands to impregnate the soap into the fibers.

• Rince correctly your silk with softness to get all the soap out.

  • Remove excess water with light pressure on the silk and suspend it in the air, it will take no more than 15-20 min to dry, avoid direct contact with sunlight.

•You can iron the silk always on the reverse side of the metallic pigment if designs are applied over the silk. If not, all sides are correct to iron always at low temperature.

• Do not use bleach or other products which may damage the color.

  • Do not use brushes on it

  • Once a time, you can do a delicate program in to your washing machine, cold temperature and soft soap. Avoid mixing silk with other textiles, they could dye.

• Do not use fabric deodorants on your silk, clean them by hand to eliminate odors
several times if required.

•Avoid direct contact with perfumes, alcohols, deodorants, oils, creams, make-up. If your silk is oiled, you can put a little bit of kitchen degreaser in the wash water.
Never use degreaser directly!

• Pay special attention to your jewelry, they could scratch the silk.
